For optimal results, we need your help.

Thank you for choosing Turf Masters for your Aeration & Seeding Service.

We have made every effort to ensure your satisfaction. Please keep in mind that when dealing with nature, some variables are beyond our control. Severe temperatures and/or prolonged droughts can greatly affect the degree of germination and survival rate of the new seed.

After Service Care Instructions

  • Water for 20-30 minutes every day for 3 weeks. Then decrease frequency to every other day, then 3 days, etc. It is important to keep the seeds moist for germination.
  • Do not mow for at least 3 weeks. When you do mow, use a sharp mower blade.
  • As the new seeds germinate, weeds may develop.  Do not use weed control products until the grass has matured. If you are on our Lawn Care Program, we will complete your next treatment at the appropriate time.
  • New grass plants may die if leaves are left on the lawn for an extended period of time. We suggest blowing the leaves from the lawn instead of raking as raking may damage young seedlings.
  • Most Fescue lawns will get brown patch fungus in early spring. We strongly recommend our Fungicide Program to combat this unavoidable disease. Please contact us for details.
